Work Experience:

1974-1979 - Served as surface Line Officer in US Navy.  Served on three ships in the US Pacific Fleet.

USS Gurke (DD-783) First Lieutenant, 'M' Division Officer

USS Halsey (CG-23) NTDS Maintenance Officer

USS Samual Gompers (AD-37) Operations Officer

1979-1980 - Graduate Student MSU Bozeman

1980-1988 - Owner/Manager of Montana MicroComputers, Great Falls, MT

1988-Present - Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor of Electronics Engineering Technology at Montana State University - Northern

1979-1996 Served in US Naval Reserve at the Naval Reserve Center, Great Falls, Montana.  Retired in January 1996 at the rank of Commander, USNR.

Organizations:

Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) - Elevated to senior member 2001.

Association for Engineering Education (ASEE), Member and IEEE representative to TAC/ABET for Accreditation Teams.

Navel Enlisted Reserve Association (NERA) - Life Member

Other Activities:

Serve as accreditation Team Member as IEEE representative to the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) under the Technology Accreditation Council (TAC)
